Well I come back to my shop on lunch to find 5 fire trucks 4 ambulances and couple cop cars.I thought maybe there was a bad accident(on main highway) but it was much worse.A car had an electrical problem while everyone was on lunch from the interior of the car.My bay is the one in the backround of the car so all my stuff got soaked. Well I am now out of work for 5-6 months...

they have to have the insurance adjuster, fire damage inspection and all that. then there is the restoration crew that will have to repair and rebuild everything. hope you got a few spray bottles of WD40 and a box of rags, 72gremlinx :P . Get your tools all cleaned up before they start to corrode.

Was the car left running when you all went to lunch? Was no one in the shop? Seems someone was being careless.

yeah, if my car is going to be out of my sight even for a few seconds i turn it off. someone had to have been around and that person is to blame for not watching the car. small fires like electrical fires are really easy to put out if caught soon enough.
