Driving home today, a few miles from home, on a narrow 50 mph two lane road that is high in traffic. Minding my own business, when all of a sudden, a jerk-off on a motorcycle blows past me... ON THE CENTER LINE... AND A CAR COMING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION !!! (Yes folks, we were actually three-wide!) Good thing my Metro is small, so that he had enough room as to not take off our mirrors! So pissed!

I actually hope he dies a slow painful road-rash motorcycle death! Okay, maybe a vegetative state. It's riders like him that give bikers a bad name.

I hate that too, they don't realize that if anyone had made the slightest swerve he'd end up a road-waffle (pancake)

The biggest thing that they teach you as a motorcyclist is that it's really easy to die on one. Pisses me off to no end when I see these guys that are just asking for it.

Lots of idiots on bikes here too. Makes me sad as I like to ride but want to live to tell the tale.

Why you Mutt!

Had that individual been in a car, he'd probably have tried the same thing. Probably a kid...really good reaction time, and he thinks he's immortal. A wrong move on a bike, or a momentary lapse of attention, and he may learn otherwise. And I know it's a painful lesson...I've been there.

I love a holes who weave through traffic doing at least 100mph+ between vehicles as well as the shoulders. :popcorn

a hear a lot of veterans get into the hardcore adrenalin junkie thing with fast cars and motorbikes. because when they get home from their job they try to re-create the feeling of the battle field because they are used to it and it's a form of 'traumatic brain injury' or PTSD .

I understand not liking bikers who do this but, "giving up a door" or "making it tough for him" really? Yeah its a pain in the ass but let him kill himself. Just because he's being reckless doesn't mean you should go out of your way or even waste the thought or time to put him in even more danger. If you get pissed off and let it get to you, he wins. He got his adrenaline rush while you sit at home pissed off.

I heard this from a traumatic brain injury expert speaking on a radio show, who was a retired mental health worker who was in the canadian forces over 25 years. war tactics have changed a lot in the last quarter century, tours have increased in length and wars in general are longer and with no clear objective (middle east conflicts), with more actual deaths from suicide from active and returning vets than kills in action. it is a big problem and requires first admission of the problem and then discussing as a community how we can help with it.
