I am looking to buy a 96 Metro LSI with 252000 miles rebuilt auto and lots of other new parts..Im a bit concerned with the mileage on the Engine..(mostly freeway)He says that it has had 2 timing belts..The last 1 with a water pump 35000 miles ago..What is the rebuild window for the 4 cyl..and what is the longevity on this engine?I haven't listened to or drove it yet..He also said it has been well maintained. Thanks |

the 4 cylinder automatics really aren't worth it in my opinion. I'm not a car expert but I myself would rather get a 4 cylinder 1.5 liter automatic Toyota, Honda, etc. edit: I only meant the above if you are looking to save money with better MPG. Edited by Weswhat, Oct 27 2012, 08:27 PM.
