Replaced engine now fuel pump not working. Oddly enough no day time running lights any more. When switching the key on the indicator light for the running lamp comes on dimly for maybe a half second. Checked fuel pump fuses and relays, all seem to be in working order. Checked voltage under back seat at pump electrical conection, none found. It will start when I give it a little gas in the throttle body, and everything else seems to be working fine. Any guesses what the problem might be?

Good bye

The computer grounds on the intake are easy to miss on engine swaps.

I checked to make sure that both of them were hooked up and tight.

Does your replacement engine have a crankshaft sensor? You kept your entire intake manifold, throttle body, and distributor from the ole engine, right?

Yep, still have the old engine. I did change the crank gear, crank sensor, oil pan, and distributor/thermostat housing so I could use the same wiring harness that was in the car.
I did however unplug the wiring harness from the engine and the day time running lights came on when the key was turned on. Then with key on began plugging things in one at a time, and found that the two wire connector that goes to the alternator when connected shut the daytime running lights off. One thing that I didn't change was the alternator. All other wires had no affect on the lights.
