Tick tick tick

So I have noticed a tick every since I got the exhaust leak fixed. I originally though it was a lifter, but it does not get faster with rpms. I have sea foamed the engine, changed the oil to Mobil 1 high mileage 5/30, and am currently running with about a half quart of MMO. The tick seams to quiet down after 5 - 10 miles but it doesn't go away. It only ticks while accelerating. Any body got any suggestions or advice?

Sounds like the leak didn't get completely fixed. How did you have it fixed? What was used?

My 91 3/3 convertible Posted Image had a tic that started to sound like a sewing machine, then it started to toc, and finally just bang away and on my way to work it started smoking more than me. I made it to a gas station and got some tranny fluid and put some in and made it to work. After work I put more in and headed for my friends garage, almost made it. He pulled me the last mile. Anyway, I drove my Cavalier the rest of the week. and ordered the tranny seal and filter and got a lot of fluid. On my day off we pulled the motor and found this. :O Posted Image At times like this I'm glad I have 8 metros and parts from a few others. So we changed the torque converter, fly wheel and seal, and filter. Put the motor back in. And all was right in my world for another week. :rocker So check your flywheel too. (all my bolts were tight and present).

So I'm a rookie, and don't know what I'm looking at. I realize it is the fly wheel but don't know what is wrong with it

the little round part with the 6 holes is supposed to be in the middle of the larger part, (just 1 part) not two.

Oh, wow! Well I'm really starting to believe it is an exhaust leak but I just have no clue where it is. I would really like to get a good header for it
