I need spark plug wires for my 3/5 in a bad way, and no place locally has them, but they do have spark plug wires for a 4 cyl. Will this work????

This should work just fine. You will have a leftover plug wire and may pay a little more for this but it is no big deal. Odds are the leftover will be the longest of the 4. Use the other three and you should be fine. There is a 4th one that goes from the coil to the dist so the 3 cly kit will have 4 wires and the 4 cyl kit will have 5 wires.

Take each plug wire off your car one at a time and compare the length with one of the new wires and replace with the new one of most comparable length.

Do the 4 cyl wires have the top seal for the plug well in the head? I don't think so.

FOG

because i get them for free
i use spark plug wires for a VW AEG or AVH 2.o engine , the is no provision for a well seal and they do not fit on the OEM spark plugs
so i alternate between
BOSCH FR7LDC+ or NGK BKUR6ET-10
Spark plugs

there is no benefit to using either of these plugs over the OEM NGK BP5ES-11 i only use them because the wires do not fit the OEM plugs
the absence of the well seal does not appear to create any problems
but
i use antisieze and torque the plugs to 25nm

Got 70 MPG?

There are plenty of spark plug kits out there for the 3 cylinder that do not have the seal on the spark plug boot, so go for it :thumb
