Well today I stopped by the local Discount tire to have the recent junk yard 12' wheels and tires balanced and shorter valve stems put in. This was to get the wheels ready for the racing disks that are on the way.

Well it seems that I cross threaded the 10mm bolts on the drivers side rear and it ended up with a broken bolt when they took attempted to take the Gorilla bold off.

How hard is this to replace? Cost? I can't seem to find any guides to replace one searching on here.

Remove brake drum. With straight punch and BFH get rid of frustrations by driving out old stud. Don't be shy, hit it with passion. It will come out.

Turn the drum over and insert the new stud. Be gentle, it is not yet used to abuse. Start it in the hole and when it is firmly started turn the drum around and pull it the rest of the way in with one of the lugnuts and a spacer washer.

The studs are cheap. The hard part will be finding one that is 10MM X 1.25MM pitch because that is what you need

Either get another drum with good studs at the junkyard or replace the broken one. These small studs do not require to much effort to remove. They may be tack welded on the back of the drum but still not hard to remove.
