Long story short, I've been running tap water in my car for quite some time. Yes I know God kills 3 bunnies every rotation of my crankshaft because of this... Seriously though, cold weather (30-35 degrees) has come around a couple times and I think it's about time to put antifreeze in my car. I got green coolant (SuperTech) and drained my radiator, filled it back up, and burped the system. I put about 1.5 quarts of it in the radiator and overflow bottle. This equates to about 35/65 ratio, a quick Google shows that is good to down around 0 Fahrenheit...anything wrong with that? Also, feel free to discuss antifreeze! |

Dont rely on google. Test it and see what the protection level is. -20 would be a better place to be. 50/50 is really the ratio you want. |

I agree with blue rhino but living in Alabama I highly doubt you'll ever hit that |
