I have this auto trans from the 89 Swift GTi and was wondering if it is the same trans as the one in my 94 auto metro. If it is not the same, will it bolt on and if so, is there a difference in the gear ratio? Maybe get a little better mileage? On the other hand, I also have a trans from a 93 metro LSi 5 speed. Other than the typical major hardware conversion, do I have to change the trans computer? Or is there one for the standard? Thanks |

I posted a how-to at http://geometroforum.com/topic/4870874/ I'm running the automatic computer. With the proper wires jumpered at the connector it will not throw error codes. |
