The Snail (1.0 92 auto) is hesitating when the accelerator is pressed, I just got it up and running again a few weeks ago and it ran like a new car!!! I'm not kidding!Now this! :banghead Also, the engine clatters this is new. Checked plugs, rotor, and wires all basically new. :(

I found the problem. In the pics below you can see tha the shaft key has gouged out. Also, I've posted a pic
of my fix.

Mine was doing sorta what you described. The wire from the coil to the distributor had worked itself loose. Was barely making contact. I took a screwdriver and spread apart the contacts so they would fit tighter. Instantly started running good again.
