Toward Mecca, roughly east. On the passenger side of the block, very near where the timing belt normally runs, you will find a small hole with a brass looking thingy in it, most have a flat screwdriver slot in them. That's the passage which the oil takes on its way up to the cam. There is only one such hole in the head gasket. |

It will be very apparent if you put the gasket on wrong. It and the mating surfaces are asymetrical. |
