You guys are too worried about the damn cam. it takes 10 minutes to swap out. Make sure the trans is the 3.79. I would say screw laying on your back and counting. Take the car out for a drive and see how many rpms it is running.
Make sure the tires are the right size so it might mess up the tach. Someone with an xfi and stock tires will tell you how many rpms you should be at while running 55mph.

The most important thing is the frame rust. an early 90s geo is easy to turn into an xfi.....but I understand if you want a true xfi.
So , how do you tell how many rpms it's running when the XFi didn't come with a tach?

Xfi's dont have side body moldings either and should also have all black bumpers top and bottom . Carry on
