Yesterday a trip to pick'n'pull got me a few spare parts.
Going to wait until pick'n'pull's half price sale next weekend to get anything major.
Also the only geo at my local yard is a rally car, the doors are welded shut and anything plastic on it is busted to pieces.
Wont be getting much salvageable stuff off it....

Today was a very long Geo day. Here's a list of everything i got done.

2 newer tires and rims
2 extra rims
1 new spare tire
The blower and Ac things that go under the dash
Rear seat
rear seat belt
new clamps that the back seat snap into
radio
new radio wiring
ac control nobs
ac wiring harness
sprayed out the engine bay.
side view mirror
rear view mirror
new shifter nob
installed a dome light
cleaned the vents
hung the license plate

And got an alignment done Apparently it was really really bad. All the techs were just shaking their heads and mouthing "the fuck" when they were looking at the readings.

Car is running much smoother now and drives with a lot more pep than I'm used to.

Took Oden out and taught him to drive stick shift. He did very well. Few hours of practice and he wont have any problems.

I'd be suspicious of that. For the alignment to be that far off, I'd think something is worn out, or the frame is sagging.

That is an adorable idea. You will make Wesley feel so special, because he will have a car "just like Dad's!". :thumb

The trip up to scoob's house resulted in 38.8 mpg, on very hilly terrain with someone whos been driving stick about a week. Also the trip back was made much much quicker then it should have been, and probably resulted in much mpg loss as well.

I'm happy with those numbers, and I can't wait to see what the straight stretch to texas doing 55 in 2 weeks will result in, I'm hoping to break 50 mpg!
