The best torque wrench will always be this type http://www.amazon.com/Park-Tool-TW-2-Torque-Wrench/dp/B000NVAHMW/ref=pd_sim_sg_1
Never needs calibration..Harbor Freight has them too.
And when you use them to break loose bolts, the point breaks off due to the beam snapping.

That's when I learned you don't use a torque wrench to loosen things.
That's why the Tool God invented breaker bars....and five foot TV antenna masts! :lol

Fastest Hampster EVER

CB, the phillips head screws on the 1/2" ratchet will come loose. Might want to take the screws out and put some blue lock tight on them so they won't get lost somehow.

How do I know this, because they have fallen out of my 1/2" drive!!!!!

And done leave your torque wrench on your crank pulley bolt and forget it and start your engine. Turned it into a paper weight instantly. Needless to say I never did that again. Luckily lifetine warranty.

i have one of these wrenches. i paid 10 bucks a long time ago when it was on sale. you get what you pay for. it's not very accurate and doesn't work for low torques. mine doesn't work below 20 ish.

I want to say autozone use to calibrate torque wrenches. I guess you could buy 2 and check them against each other? I love freight harbor!!! I have draws full of colored sockets. :stoner

I have that multimeter. Its the biggest cheap pos out there, but it works great. lol

I've had mine for about 1.5 years and had no problems other than the covering around the dial coming off. I bought a cheap $10 wally world one and it burnt up the first time I tried to test a battery. I have no idea why. Found the HF one in the bottom of my tool box and have used it since then. Its nothing great but does the trick.
