i have one of these wrenches. i paid 10 bucks a long time ago when it was on sale. you get what you pay for. it's not very accurate and doesn't work for low torques. mine doesn't work below 20 ish.
How did you test it?

i tested it against another torque wrench, seeing as the torque wrench didn't click at all below about 20 i assumed it wasn't the most finely crafted wrench and go with the better wrench for torques.

:rocker Good score. When I went to get my tool box I had a lady tell me I could only use a coupon a day a purchase. I put back the other stuff I wanted and just got the box. Other employees will keep scanning coupons til the computer says not accepted. :smackface

Was it a 3/8 or a 1/2? If I had to constantly do sub-20lb torque, I would buy the 1/4" one.

Cool vid, and did see the HF calipers.

I have a couple here - use them to scribe things to save my mitutoyo. Just wish the battery life in the HF calipers was even 1/4 as long as my Mitutoyo.

Insane how short the battery life is... I am tempted to buy an analog one just for that.

If you can find a true silver oxide battery, it'll last longer. They're harder to find at a good deal.

The Mitutoyo will go like 5 years on a battery!

I don't know why they're so expensive these days. I bought mine maybe 10 years ago for $69 as that was the going price then.

I think some stuff they just keep increasing the price every year regardless of whether it costs more to make or not.

Had/have a mechanical dial type from "Harbor Salvage" (HF's previous name) from their only store in Camarillo (maybe there were two in the whole US).
Work fine but you have to keep the debris out of the gears/rack.
