Just reminds me of my horrible Nissan days... I was always told to work hard and do the best that I can and that would get me places in life. Nope! The harder I worked and the more jobs I learned the farther I got from getting a better job out there. All I got to do was more bitch work... God bless, leaving that place was one of the best days of my life! You have never seen anyone so happy to walk away from $26 an hour. It took me almost 5 years of getting my ass kicked to learn this lesson: Money is just money. Who cares... If your job is making you miserable....QUIT!!! You will be just fine I promise Just remember this quote from Albert Einstein:Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. |

Id gladly spend 8 hours a day bent over a table with my pants around my ankles for that kind of money. I do that already for half that In all honestly horn, you got some talent to get hired by them. I applied to work there and think failed the applitute test. I hate the part that asks about apples are to oranges as pensicls are to -------. Then you got the word problems, if train a is going 55 mph and train b is going 72 mph, how much is a ticket to the moon if you taken by a Saturn 5 rocket.

Hell no! I am much happier being broke... And pulling your pants down would be a walk in the park compared to killing yourself on that assembly line!

Well, I really ment "working your ass off" and not really "killing yourself" but that does remind me of the time at about 2:00 A.M. I saw the little meat wagon speeding down the isle. Some poor guy had a heart attack and died right there on the line. The line never stopped.

Talent to get hired by Stanley Steemer? Nope. I just walked in and was hired. No aptitude tests. Just jump on a van and learn. Wal mart, yea there was an aptitude type test, but it was all common sense. ex. If a customer comes yelling in your face calling you a pos what do you do? a. punch that prick in the face. b. Talk in a calm manner and try to fix the problem. (you want to put a, but you know thats not the answer they want. lol) The biggest aptitude test I've take is probably the asvab test. Its really hard to fail, but some dumbasses manage to do it. Union pacific has a decent aptitude test. I took that and had a job lined up when I was 18 and turned it down. Probably should have taken it, but didn't want to pass on school

you did what people want to do, but it was the wrong choice. can't say i wouldn't have done the same though. also, what are you talking about? non professional jobs are ALL over the place. when i say non professional i mean it's not a job you need a degree or training in like mechanic. i haven't ever gone more than a week without finding a new job and the last 3 jobs i got were during the so called recession. you'll find a new one right away, don't worry. |

Ive seen people at "the bank" carried out on stretchers and in handcuffs. Ive seen people loose it on a customer, tell em off, grab their items and walk out. too. In all honestly sales is an easy job, there are soo many freaking ways to do it. You can charm the person, include the extras in the bill, bullshoot them into needing it, stretching the truth about its benefits, tell em a higher price, then say for you its only x amount. You can say 1 is a made up price, but 2 is and give the real price. You can do the lead the horse to water method, hey is something missing here to wipe your feet, remove anicrap from your feet and the risk of hip fracture? Tada, floor mat. One option Ive seen, but do not so is the high pressure sale. This is where you keep talking and not let the customer say otherwise. Ok, thats 199 for cleaning, 10 for a matt and 5 for touch up spray, I talk mastubator or dickcover card and can I have that number....... |
