Is Beer a gateway drug? I started out drinking beer, discovered wine, then discovered Jack Daniels. 'nuff said.

Cigarettes are legal. Not everyone smokes.

Alcohol is legal. Not everyone drinks.

If marijuana is legal, I don't think everyone in the country is going to become a stoner and then a heroin addict.

If marijuana IS a gateway drug, it is because of it's silly prohibition and it's inclusion alongside drugs that are truly dangerous.

I think some people figure, "If the government is lying to me about the dangers of marijuana, maybe they are also lying about how dangerous cocaine is?"

Yeah, I agree it does depend on a person personallity but... you can't tell me there are not a lot of people that if a drug was not easily availalbe they would not even get into it. Like cigs. Harder to get them or drink if you are not of age, but in your 20's easy to get and people get hooked big time---seems to me.

well, it seems to me if we legalize pot then we have to legalize all other drugs. Just as if we legalize homosexual marriage we have to allow bigamy/polygamy too. I wish our Supreme Court wasnt so political and actually would take on these sort of cases. :fon I suppose its good red meat to rally conservatives in an election year :banana

Marijuana IS a doorway drug. That devil weed will lead you to the doorway of a nearby Taco Bell.

why doesn't the white widow have a caution on it? if it's real then it would be the strongest strain in that box.

Because they have different compositions of THC and CBD. You can even see how much lighter or "greyer" it looks than the other strains. White Widow was great for my ankle pain but didn't do much for knee or lower back. I also had a tolerance built up to the WW as it was used daily. NL5 would take care of those other pains when they would occasionally pop up but it would also hit me like a tranquilizer. The caution label was just so I wouldn't get into it while under the influence.

All illegal drugs are bad. Gateway or otherwise, God says let your body be his temple. If everybody in the country turned their hearts over to the Lord, then there would be a lot less useage of drugs.

That idea is not going to happen because human nature is stronger that the calling the Lord is telling his children. Most drug offenders are selfish. All they care about is their own wants, needs and desires before their family's wants, need and desires.

But when we all get to heaven, we will have to answer for our sins on earth. Hope you all are ready for that day. If not, I hear that dancing on the firey flames sucks.

I was rather "What." myself, when I read that.

Religion? In a drugs thread? Smells like... :locked

I think drug offenders usually have no choice but to be selfish. Once addicted to a drug (or any behavior) your brain will have you do whatever you have to to get your fix. I'm pretty sure drug users would love to be able to stop using and get on with their lives and build real relationships family and friends again.

Lets clear this up.

Someone that smokes weed every day is not the same as the person who smokes meth or shoots heroine.
You will not do whatever you have to do for weed. You will not beat up your grandma and take her money for weed. Heroine/meth? probably

and the flames of hell would cook your munchies a lot quicker! No more waiting 15 minutes for a frozen pizza when you are high...
