:smackface So it was pretty minor. Took out a taillight. I don't even think the girl, who was younger than my Metro, could see me from the vantage point of her lifted truck. I'm thinking of putting a flag on the back like one of those three wheel scooters the fat guy with no shirt drives along my road to work every day.

Metro has a boo-boo? :(
Aw...hate it when that happens.
Mom says...Give it a kiss to make it feel better.
Get well soon.

That's kind of the downfall to these cars. Hard to see and you don't want to get in a wreck in them! You can also put in "one hundred & ten brake lights". B-)

Geo Pet's 110 Brake Lights are on my radar. It's on the pimp out my metro list of things to do. I've had alot of "near misses" where people almost rear-end me. Over Zealous, road raging, idiots.

I think people should have to "qualify" with the vehicles they drive, like they do with motorcycles or airplanes.

Might keep some unqualified operators out of vehicles they shouldn't be operating.

Actually with motorcycles you just qualify with some 90 cc motorcycle for the course, in real life you got people with 1200cc's between there legs doing 200 mph down freeway ready to be human burger meat. Starting to sound little corny there :lol

I've always said there should be 3 or 4 "tiers" of driving licenses. And girls like the one that hit the OP should be the lowest tier, a bicycle.

I made a claim with her insurance and have a line on some tailights that I hope to pick off a 94 metro along with an AC harness tomorrow PM. Hopefully the insurance will write me a check and it'll pay for the harness and the lights and maybe another part or two.

It does not take much more than a tail light to total one of these...

Mr Mojo Risin'

Some little monkey rear-ended my 94 XFi while texting and messed up both taillights/cover and my bumper. Its all wompy now even after being fixed, people need to pay more freaking attention. Everyone is a "lane zombie" now, no brains at all behind the wheel.

So the girl's insurance came back expired. I can "subrogate" under my own insurance. hmmm . . . not sure any of this is worth it. Meantime I went and picked over a parts geo in someone's back yard yesterday with RHDRollerskate and got some tailights and the AC harness I've been needing.
