I got a browser highjack the other day and while searching for how to remove it run across this program. I deleted all I knew from the registry and still could not kill it. Ran malware bytes and no go. Ran highjack this and killed what I could and still no go. Downloaded this and killed what it found and no problems since. Just thought someone may be interested in it. I had never seen this tool before.

I've been using Firefox for a number of years on Windows and have not had any issue with hijacks: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/?from=getfirefox

It's ran every site I needed it to for the past year or two, with the added benefit of security. IE 8 is decent but every virus writer on the net writes hijacks for it.

Another great one to try is Google Chrome: https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/
