Have low compression in 2 cylinders (adjacent) 90 ...... 60...... 170 Leak down test has air leaking from the adjacent spark plug hole.....tested cylinder at T.D.C. during test.
I figured Head Gasket.....put on new gasket....same issue...can I assume a warped head? I've not done a lot of engine overhaul but am pretty good at following directions and turning wrenches and enjoy messing with this stuff... pulled head off and planning on taking it to the machine shop to have it checked. Straight edged the block and it appears to be ok. Just had the head and valves done a year ago and have not had any overheating issues. Engine has just under 160,000 on it to date....
Thanks in advance!!

Any leakage from the exhaust? Could be two burnt exhaust valves.

Put in the spark plug to stop the leak out that port.....didn't hear anything out the exhaust.

I was told to do a full rebuild if you rebuilt the head because the engine doesn't like a tight head but looser lower end. It was too late to save me but I thought you might like to know ^^
