With the damaged regulator I was easily able to manually pull up the window but I live in Vancouver with constantly variable weather. If the the window doesn't roll up properly that is unacceptable to me. I'm going to have to keep and eye out for another regulator because I'd like to keep driving this car for another 10 years. |

Hey bonehead, I am having the same problem with my car haha. I replaced the bent regulator, but I feel the problem is that the regulator pushes the window into the weather stripping which in turn bends the regulator. Grease and spray help so much and will do that for all my manual crank cars in the future but I feel I need to make the regulator push the window more on its center of gravity. Did grease and spray solve your problem? |

Is there a place to buy new window regulator parts? Or are we left to just scavenging? Mine are weak too. |
