I recently bought a 2000 Suzuki Esteem GLX with a 1.8 Mazda engine. I didn't exactly need another car, but I only paid 300 for it and it runs great. The only problems it has is it needs a new strut an has a leaky radiator. I'm not worried about the probolems though, I just play in it and take it out and haul balls. It's pretty fast for a four door sedan. It actually got me thinking if anyone has every tried throwing the 1.8 in a Metro? Or is it even possible? As small and lightweight as the Metro is I imagine that with the 1.8 it could be a Civic slayer. |

The 2000 glx would have a J18 in it? The J series valve covers do look like some mazda motors I have seen. We need pics. |
