So I have a bad fuel pump in my 92 metro and was looking at the cost/reliability of the new different brand name pumps. Does anyone know if it is possible to install a Bosch Bo1301 for a 94 swift gt in my tank? It is supposedly a bigger pump so not sure if it would fit in the Metro mounting bracket (just looking at pictures so far, have not removed from tank yet). Also, would there be any issues with relocating the stock filter to the firewall in the engine compartment? Not sure if it would make the pump work harder having the restriction of the filter that far down the line instead of next to the tank.

If you get the right fuel pump filter it should fit with minimal modification. You might have to stretch the bracket a bit |
