I don't find them that loud. i think you just notice it more because of the lack of sound deadening in these cars. |

make sure your exhaust system is in good condition. my little beastie is whisper quiet after I repaired my rusted out exhaust. as far as interior sound deadening, not much of that, I hear more road noise from these cars than others. |

The three cylinder engines are a lot noisier than the 4 cylinders. |
