Fastest Hampster EVER

I've seen the pics of the blown out windows in Russia. Hmmmmm, wonder if they used Union labor or Gulag labor to install the windows. That looked to me to be some inferior installation proceedures. If that meteor were to hit America, I bet the only windows to cave in would be the ones on mobile homes.

And that pic of the meteor hitting the lake.............How could that rock hit a frozen lake and leave a perfect circle. Reminds me of crop circles. Something is not quite right with the reporting and I just can't put my finger on it.

Please explain to me how you plan on getting the energy to send mining equipment, people, food, etc. Into space, not to mention the energy it would take to mine and then send back the ore.

Same thing gets me about aliens. Sure, they exist but people don't understand the insane amount of time it takes to travel from one galaxy to another.

And the giant cruise ships and fleets in movies. Humans don't have It in them to build such things. And there is no way something so heavy could escape earths gravity. Think about how much thrust it took for the space shuttle alone.
Getting stuff back down to earth is the easy part. Its all downhill. The technology to mine near earth asteroids exists now. Yes, it takes a lot to get that equipment into orbit. Initial investment would likely be 10 billion dollars or so. Which is 5 billion less than it cost to host the Olympics, which did NOT help get the world a new supply of raw materials. Once you have the equipment.t up there, keep it there. Delta-v to move a around in orbit is far cheaper than getting into orbit. So leave the equipment up there for the next one. Use some of the materials to make new equipment.

Once it was horribly expensive to cross the ocean. People said it wasn't worth it. Once it was a dumb idea to fly. We shouldn't invest in that. Those who say something can't be done are often proven wrong. Those who say it can be done, are eventually proven right.
