Research the NDAA.
The cops fired at too old women in a truck that 'looked' like his truck. Should be apparent that the cops wanted him dead, not alive.
They didn't even check to see who was in the truck.
We aren't being told the whole story and if it's laughable to think that the mainstream media is going to do any real research on.
Did you scalp tickets to that gun show? lol. I bet you made a lot if so.

Yea I heard something about some innocent older ladies getting killed......
The ladies in the truck were NOT killed. They were slightly injured, but the city reimbursed them and bought them a new truck with a big fat MEA CULPA to boot.
Does not make it in the least bit OK. I would sue the pants of them. They deserve worse. What they've done is wrong as Nerys stated and it's disgusting to think about it. They're no better than military soldiers overseas killing innocent civilians.
Nowhere did I state it was OKAY what the police did. I merely stated a fact.....they were erroneously fired upon, injured yet not killed, and offered reimbursement from the city with their apologies. It will be up to the ladies how far they wish to pursue whatever they wish to pursue from a legal perspective.

And I would also caution against criticizing our military for going overseas and killing innocent civilians. For the most part the military goes out of their way to ensure civilian lives are not lost. Sometimes in war civilians are killed, and that is a tragedy. And sometimes....RARELY, you might have a soldier who will go off the deep end and empty a magazine into a civilian home.

But it's far from the norm.

I have no clue what happened BUT, I am 35 yrs old and, of the people I went to school with I have noticed something. The worst of the worst became teachers and if they were too crazy to teach, they got a badge and became cops. I know one state trooper that I have any respect for, he has enough common sense to be a normal person and isnt on a power trip.

If you are a taller person (or above average height), you better hope you don't have an encounter with a short cop....I knew one cop that was small and man he was a power tripping douche. Fuckin asshole threatened to taze me while I was in handcuffs and laying face first on the ground. Wasn't resisting or even yelling or anything. Man I wanna beat the hell out of that cop. He had it out for me ever since he became a cop....

As a relatively short guy (5'6"), I find it hilarious to see other guys my height that feel somewhat intimidated/emasculated because of their height.

We had this discussion in high school, and this girl asked me, "Does it bother you that you are shorter than a lot of the girls?" In a really bitchy high school girl type tone? My reply, "They never seem to care once I get them in bed." :dunno

Played that shit perfectly.

Short people say they get picked on. And yea, they do. But believe me, if someone is going to give you shit, they will find any reason. Hell, I make fun of really tall people.

I used to get picked on for being short, I also got picked on for wearing the clothes I did. Do you know what I did? I conformed all through high school, and you know what? I did just fine. Now, I do what I want. :dunno

This whole bullying thing is overrated. Go with the flow man.

Do you notice all these crybaby shows that any time someone does something wrong, they try to blame it on their childhood?

They steal from a lady and they try to use the reasoning that their parents never gave them anything as a kid and "neglected them"

Or they play with a persons head. You know, plays a person that is interested for several years when they are 27. and they try to blame it on how they got de-panced in gym class and now they are mentally scarred.

Shit, its easy to get picked on. I don't know many people who didn't. Hell, I had an older brother and hung out with his friends. I got picked on every day. They made fun of me just to make fun of me. Who cares? thats what kids do.

And yet somehow thousands more civilians have died in this war than both sides combined.

There will always be civilian deaths in any war.....but that is never the goal. Soldiers don't go overseas to kill civilians. They go there to do their jobs. Yea, I'm sure a few do kill innocent people and don't care.

You do know that the enemy also uses civilians to their advantage. You know, putting bombs on kids and women.

Don't turn this into how the soldiers try to kill civilians.....

My point is they sign up for the military knowing damn well these wars are wrong and that there's a good chance their actions will result in innocent lives taken for no good reason and yet they still sign up. There's no threat from the countries we are at war with.

And yes, some do go there to kill people. I've heard it from some of our veterans mouths in person. Most don't, of course but knowing what enlistment results in and still going is still gross.

Iraq War documents leak

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_War_documents_leak

The Iraq War documents leak is the WikiLeaks disclosure of a collection of 391,832 United States Army field reports, also called the Iraq War Logs, of the Iraq War from 2004 to 2009 to several international media organizations and published on the Internet by WikiLeaks on 22 October 2010. [1][2][3] The files record 66,081 civilian deaths out of 109,000 recorded deaths. [2][3][4][5][6] The leak resulted in the Iraq Body Count project adding 15,000 civilian deaths to their count, bringing their total to over 150,000, with roughly 80% of those civilians. [7] It is the biggest leak in the military history of the United States, [1][8] surpassing the Afghan War documents leak of 25 July 2010. [9]

Soldiers killing civilians as an accident? fine. Covering it up. NOT FINE. period. if it was an honest accident there is no reason to cover it up and hide it. unless of course we have no business being over their. the iraq was blatant treason. We started to impeach Clinton for lying about a blowjob yet we did not impeach bush for illegally killing more of our soldiers in iraq than died in 9/11 against an "enemy" that had absolutely positively NOTHING to do with 9/11.

I respect our soldiers and the position they are in. I blame our LEADERS for their deaths. period.

this is crap. This ONLY makes sense when the playing field is level when its two EQUALS against each other (he was the president of the united states remember so its easy for him to say this kind of crap)

but when the opponent is your SUPERIOR physically and lawfully by default (ie cop with a badge and gun and you unable to do anything about what they do to you) even if not just IT IS NOT HARD for them to make you feel inferior. not hard at all.
