I am going to balance the crank and components on a 3/5. 1) I saw a Knife edge service for Cranks on SRD and wonder If I have a dry sump who cares? They couldnt have offered it just because it looks cool.....I hope.Is there a FE benifit to knife edging? Is too light a factor If I am going to use the 3.79 transmission? 2)saw the aluminum flywheel -I am going to use a 3.79 transmission, Do I need the weight of the standard flywheel? (Crank balanced for 3200RPM) (all hiway on all flat ground ) 3) because It costs a bunch to balance everything, I want a specific clutch/pressure plate that has better longevity even at higher weight. What one to get? |

Knife edge is more for oil, if you've got a dry sump it's not going to do much. Get the G13 flywheel and clutch. Lighter flywheel and heavier clutch. |
