So last may I took my buddy 125 scooter into my local shop Procaliber. The PO didn't notice that the gear oil drain plug had fallen out and drained so when I got it I rode it dry. Needless to say that didn't last long. Bearings, final drive gears, and the drive shaft were toast. Normally I can do all of the work myself but I just got lazy. So after a month my ex gf went into the shop to pick it up when they said it was done. She test drove it and told them that something wasn't right. so the opened the transmission up and removed the clutch bell. While doing this she was on the phone with me describing what they were doing. Then she said they were starting the scooter up without the clutch bell on. I instantly told her to tell them not to but too late. If any of you know how cvt transmissions work you will understand this. They started it up and revved it and thats when it happened. With out the clutch bell on the clutch, the clutch arms had nothing stopping them from flying off. One shattered the air box and one almost took off the mechanics face Saw that coming. So finally 9 months later the got it all back together and running good. Didn't have to pay a penny but I will never be going back there again.

that would void any warrenty......they did guarantee it didnt they---if so just ride the out of it for the next 30 days and see what happens No warranty from the manufacturer since I'm not the original owner and no warranty from the shop. Didn't expect any warranty from the shop and I'm not worried since I didn't pay anything and don't trust their work now. Working on these scooters make working on the geo seem like you're working on a modern BMW
