So, GMF members, what kind of gas mileage do you think THAT thing will get?

That is the big hurdle with "flying cars". Everything that is bad about an automobile, fuel mileage, safety, environmental impact, gets worse when you try to make it fly.

Know what would reduce traffic? I have an idea that would reduce traffic, reduce the amount of cars on the road, increase the food supply, And people will throw a fit, resist it, say it's draconian, and that it's against their rights, etc. But it would solve many of the problems we face, and if it doesn't happen, those problems will get worse.

It's called "Stop making so many new people".

If the human race stopped making "cheap people" where could the 1%ers export jobs to? As a top-ranked US military brass once told me, "somebody's got to clean the toilets".
A large socioeconomic factor that ended feudalism/serfdom and principality rule was the plague, reducing the labor supply, bankrupting feudal lords, and giving rise to the trade class.

reducing the labor supply, bankrupting feudal lords, and giving rise to the trade class.
And what's wrong with that?
