Just saw these and HAVE to have one! Got me thinking about my buddy that has a whole room full of them in his house. He takes them apart and modifies/paints them. People pay him good to build them! Anyone else have a ton of these things?

Here is my huge lot... The GN is my fave! B-)

It's a purple Nova with redline tires on it. Not sure the series but I can tell you that is only a few years old and I did not pay more than a few dollars for it. ;) Anything special?

yea hotwheels still makes muscle cars with redline wheels......just because it is an old car with redlines doesn't mean its an old hotwheel.

I looked on ebay at the old 68 hotwheels and man they have dropped in value from since when I remember. I could have swore that very nice ones weren't going for less that $100 and right now there are several going for quite a bit less than $100. Probably the same thing with baseball cards and other collectibles.

Hotwheels are just cool though. If you didn't have hotwheels when you were a kid, you should punch your dad in the mouth.
Man, we had police chases, races, demos, average driving, etc etc. We had this hotwheels fold out map (think it was made by them) that had roads and a city. Man those were fun times.

I was a matchbox guy too. Never did hotwheels. Made a little plywood city with buildings streets etc when I was about 12. Still have everyone of them. Have a nice shadowbox in my office with some in it.

:lol Hell yea, Max will have a ton of these things for sure! I still remember Mom letting me pick one out every time we went to K-mart(or wherever) about once a week. I know they are still somewhere around Mom and Dads if I can find them...

geogonfa, the GN is a Johnny Lightning. Stupid nice! :drool Wish they would make an SVO! :lol

Johnny lightning were like the rich kids version of hotwheels.

Man JL cars are badass. I think I have 1 or 2.

I liked going to the racetracks (usually dirt) and would get 1/64 scale cars. I have almost every dale earnhardt car made! (several in 1/24) Never opened the Earnhardt ones. Now if I got a cheap knock off #3 with Mike Skinner, I would play with that one.

:popcorn Yeah, I love the VW monster cars they came out with.

I dont remember who made it, but the dealer use to sell a set of mini models of the current line up back in the day. I got the whole line up and the semi truck.
