We are redoing the interior of my '91 Geo Metro Convertible. I took off the interior door panels so I can recover with matching material for the new seats. I can't figure out how to detach the top plastic from the cardboard fiber panel. It looks like the top plastic has plastic peg which a metal washer-like fastener is pushed on them. As far as I can tell, I may have to break these off, but then how can I reattach? UGH. This is frustrating. Thanks for your help!!! C |

Hi- am doing similar work; rebuilding an interior door panel; our car came with no driver's side panel at all; am looking for the metal washer like fasteners you mention; do you what they're called or have a source? |
