Grr

yes some forms of allodial title (true ownership) is still possible IIRC in some parts of texas.

YOU CAN own a car just keep the COA but now you can not put it on the roadways without being tickets and having it impounded and stolen from you.

Obviously, if you have approached the court, you have shown receipt, and are probably obligated. Oklahoma sucks balls. I hear you can get the death penalty for possessing too much marijuana. Country Hick Twisterville State... good luck.

.
The amount of trouble they go to here in OK to incarcerate people for the mary-jane is just embarrassing. A woman recently was given 12 YEARS on a blind plea, for selling $31 worth of pot. First offense. When public outcry was evident, they decided to reduce her sentence.

To 8 years.

And yet every single time they catch a murderer in Tulsa, you come to find out that person has been in jail before, recently, for maybe six months or so, for killing someone, or trying to kill someone. And then after they are arrested, again, they are quietly let go a few months later. Again.

Priorities are a bit screwed up, here in OK. I think the only reason we haven't got automated speed cameras here is due to the expense of replacing bullet-riddled automated radar and camera equipment.

Since pot was legalized here, believe it or not, the SKY HAS NOT FALLEN. I never touch the stuff, but maybe other states should take note?

I honestly think they should just legalize all drugs. Costing me way too much tax money to pay their room and board and healthcare. I'd rather have them in a trailer somewhere shooting up in the peace of their own home. Force drug testing for welfare and they get no assistance from the government and let them starve to death. Besides, its not like everyone is going to run out and do these crazy hardcore drugs because its legal. People have morals and social image to uhold and most are completely disgusted by the idea of drug abuse.

Anyways I'm not to sure what your best plan of action is. Perhaps contact attorney for a free consultation and ask their advice? Maybe they can tell you if the cameras are run by the police or private parties and whether the ticket actually means anything as far as the law is concerned.

Please just call me; "Schultz"

Here in wonderful, downtown, Virginia Beach,
The owner is responsible for the fine.
Period.
No points,
no record kept after one year,
collect from your co-pilot.
However,
if you refuse to pay,
the third party collection agency will report you to the city,
and,
you do not get to register your car next year until you pay the fine, and related late fee.
so,
in conclusion,
If you get one of these from V.B.
pay the damn $50 and be done with it.
then go smack your wife co-pilot.

My co-pilot has had 6 of them.
they gave her 2 chances (notices without penalty) before starting to send us fines.
I have had none.
