What if your second o2 sensor (the one by the cat) was open to the open air?
would it make the car run rich?
what are the signs of a bad o2 sensor?
what are the signs of a bad ect?

1) It would throw on the CEL
2) No
3) CEL Light
4) ect? :ermm: Do you mean ECU?

This is probably no help to you. ^o)
In order to answer your questions a little better, give us a little more info as to what your thinking and what your Metro is doing. If you Metro is running, I'm 99.999% sure you can rule out the ECU. They VERY rarely go bad. :thumb

Starts runs then dies. will run for about 3 minutes. after it die will not restart. compression good. fuel pressure good. though on new cap & roter. put on a spare throttle body and ecu. act like it is flooding. (gas puddle in the intake)

ect= engine coolant tempature sensor, so i'm told.

ECT Senosr. Got it. ;)

You have a '98 thats good. With OBDII it is very easy to check on the senors to make sure they are ok. . $20 and your phone and your in the game! :thumb

I would check fuel pressure again:
Link--->TESTING INSTRUCTIONS AND SPECS FOR TESTING FOR A DEFECTIVE FUEL PUMP-
Check for pressure leak down after you turn the car off. Could be a sign of leaking o-rings around the injector or a leaky injector itself. Could be a clogged/dirty injector. blue rhino offers a cleaning service. Contact him for details.

It's not just for codes, it also displays live data so you can see what the sensors see.
I'm still betting on:

Injector was my first bet. So i put in a new one' no change. Later i put on a different throttle ody, .so the car has had three injectors in it.
