Blue Rhino checked my IAT sensor last night. From what I can see someone used a coolant temp sensor in my air cleaner. The male portion of the sensor plug fits my female connection on the car but is missing that outside plastic rail/lip. The sensor is printed 4044 or 4404 9k made in Brazil. Am I right in assumeing a coolant temp sensor in a air temp sensor location makes for a bad install. The sensor plug is colored yellow. |

Can you post a picture of it? It sounds like it is the right one. Mine is not a 91 but it has threas that screw into the air breather with a brass end on it. I believe there a just 2 wires going into it. |
