No start... CHECK ENGINE

Got radiator replaced recently. Committed the sin of opening up radiator cap right after parking. Had always done it before with no issue (because the radiator had a hole where it leaked = relieved pressure). This was not the case anymore.. Gush of fluid sprays out. Start the car up again but CHECK ENGINE light comes on. Consensus among people I've talked to is that something got fluid inside. Dad and I checked distributor cap... seems normal.... dried off 3 pieces inside and out.

1994 Geo Metro 3cyl 1.0 AUTO

Will attempt an ODB check soon.

Did you unplug the battery for a few minutes and reconnect? May make code go away.. I had a code when I ran with no thermostat it wouldn't go away until I disconnected battery for a few reconnect...

Unplugged battery for a while, but will try again. I don't think that's the issue though..

Checked car today. Roommate jumped the battery. One of the issues I had recently was that I left the car lights on for a few hours.. so the voltage on the battery dropped. We did get the car to start and I took it for a ride. However, after parking, the car ceased to start up again. Power came on yes, but no engine go. Battery issue was unrelated and solved. We think fluid got somewhere, settled for a moment, then got back into whatever it is and messed it up.
