AutoZone currently has Mobil 1 products on sale for like $33. This sale includes 5 quarts of oil and a Mobil 1 filter. The 0W40 European Formula is part of this sale so go get it if this is what you use! This oil meets the MWebb approved ACEA specs! Conor |

What we going to do with the other one and half quart or one and quarter and what are we going to do with the useless oil filter? Kind of defeats the purpose of putting Mobil 1 in using their oil filter and buying 5 quarts of oil. |

My car takes like 4.25 or so quarts with an oversize filter. Either way, keep the extra oil for if your car burns some or just keep it each change until you have an extra full change of oil. I was always under the impression that M1 filters were one of the higher quality ones. I would sure hope so based on their price. Either way, I know people here like Purolator but these have to be better than FRAM and by a long shot. Am I wrong? Conor |
