So my front cam seal and my distributor o-ring are both new, and both leak. Compression is good so it isnt blow by, my pcv is 2 weeks old, and ive tried greasing the oring to no avail. It leaks quite a lot of oil, what could be the issue and how do i go about solving it? Thanks |

Where did you buy your parts? Sometimes manufacturers from India or China don't make their parts to spec. |

The crank seal leaks a little bit at is from an eristic kit, was not greased on install. The oring is a blue rubber one the guys at oreilys said would work, drips oil |

I've got your distributor o-ring, Reista. Or, you can buy one from Suzuki. |

I had two new crank seals leak. Turned out I over cleaned with the scotch bright.... I put a speedy sleeve on, new seal with geo Glenn recomended ez turn fuel lube oil on inside, now it doesn't leak... I had three different o rings on the distributor all leak. Got one from Glenn installed with fuel lube sticky sticky no more leak... :-) |

You should pm him, or click the o rings thing in his signature... Also, buy some ez turn fuel lube oil (a lot like vasoline only thicker) several of the best car people I've talked to recomend it on stuff like distributor orings. Or use Vaseline as Texas guy suggested if you don't want to spend 7$ on a last forever tube of ez turn lube. |
