What are the symptoms?

I've see radiator flush do that all by itself - had nothing to do with the head gasket.

haha sorry i was relaxing in my hot tub. been a stressful day.

thought my radiator blew.. but it was just my overflow tube. got pretty hot and leaked. then when i went to check my coolant level, i pulled off the cap, squeeze my hose and what looked like oil resurfaced... my head gasket does seep barely a little bit when it is cold and i am replacing it here within the next week. but i'm scared that there is damage to anything.

and i cant really tell if it is misfiring. i don't really know what it would feel like besides a sputter. my car is loud and can't hear much. and yes, i do lose coolant ever so often my over flow will be empty.

Your overflow is supposed to have fluid in it. (I don't mean that insulting, I'm not sure if you know that or not.)

I would worry, but that's just my opinion.

Get a new radiator cap. That's cheap and easy.

Mine leaks at the o ring just behind the water pump. It took me a week to notice it due to it being a dark corner I seldom crawl into.. But if your over pressuring? Bad cap perhaps.
