How does that Supertrapp sound? In the early '70s, I put a small Supertrapp on an Austin-Healy Bug-eyed Sprite with a 1275 cc motor. It sounded really nice--if a bit loud. I have wondered how it works on a three cylinder.
that one is a big block ( 1.3 L ) :rocker
This car sounds awesome! Unfortunately, the SuperTrapp assy has about 5 holes in it on the housing from rust, so I will have to replace it with something. might just get another SuperTrapp :rocker

Meanwhile, the Magnum Metro will be going on it's first official road trip tomorrow to meet up with GeoStalker on an engine swap job on another car in Columbus. 8 hours round trip!

After my trip to Columbus, I was able to get the parts needed to help get this car back in order. I got the passenger airbag, driver's seat belt, and dome lamp assy installed. I also installed the modified Hyundai sets..............

The passenger side upper weatherstrip had glue on it from a vent visor that is missing, so I replaced it also...........

I also replaced the rear bumper for a few reasons. I like the MK4 bumpers better than the MK5 bumpers, and the front bumper was replaced with a non-painted bumper so I had to do something about the large tear/hole in the replacement one. I was not sure what to do, so I gut it out, patched it with mudflap and put a sticker in there...........

I think it looks pretty good with matching bumpers now..........

Lovin' the wheels. Wheels definitely make a car look totally different. Thanks for the sound clip/vid. I'm still on the search for the best modified Metro sound to go with, without sounding too ricey.

I don't think that clip really does justice to how that muffler sounds...but it has been 3 years since I heard that car.

Holy Crap! Sounds as if the camera was mounted inside the muffler! Didn't sound anything like that when I had it, I couldn't have stood that. Okay, now I see where you said it's rusted out, that makes more sense.

So was that the bumper from the 95? Did you fill the hole, THEN cover it with that bumper sticker??
