As I thought, in the voice of Maury Povich, it is NOT the crank key. I'm getting ready to do comp test. Quick question guys. Would a clogged or bad egr cause my symptoms or even bad compression?

no, but a toasted exh valve will. Comp test will help. you test spark and fuel yet? test spark first... no fire

Still waiting on that compression test... it'll give you a lot of answers! Follow the how-to... it's very detailed. If you can't afford a compression test kit, you can usually rent them from auto parts stores.

ok fellas...The compression numbers are as follows: DRY = cyl 1 - 60 cyl 2 - 80 cyl 3 - 80 WET = cyl 1 - 105 cyl 2 - 210 cyl 3 - 225 What can and/or does this mean?

It means that you have two burned valves . Time to pull the head. Ok I just read your numbers a little closer. I would say rings and valves are in order.

yep typical metro i agree rings and valves. be prepared to drop around $400 or so on a rebuild. ive redone 3 now with rings and valves and thats a good rough estimate. if you decide on a used engine be sure to do a compression test on it also.
