White smoke.; I have white smoke billowing out of my exhaust

I think heavy oil in the chamber can cause whiteish smoke too. My head is brand new in the vert. Gone tear it down this winter and get all the 3tech performance goodies!!!

I suspect your mechanic lost the oil restrictor in the block when he had the head off. Go to this thread and in the 1st post you will see a pic of the block with the restrictor installed. In the second post is a good description.

Just noticed that you did not start a new thread for your problem. everyone is going by the original posting which did not take the head off.

What is your compression???????????
The comment your mechanic make ("cuz your rings are bad") might just be a valid comment. Do a compression test and let me know what the compression is.
