Ok, I've been looking for the (in)famous Suzuki OEM main and rod bearings for next months rebuild and in the process it appears that I have found the corresponding Chevy parts numbers which are actually made by Suzuki. Below are the Suzuki PNs followed by the "Chevy's".

Quote:

Available from Suzuki - Maybe

12100-82810 Rod Bearings - $21.08

12340-82000-0A0 - "Green" Main Bearings - $22.58

12340-82000-0B0 - "Black" Main Bearings - $22.58

12340-82000-0C0 - "No Color" Main Bearings - $22.58

12340-82000-0D0 - "Yellow" Main Bearings - $22.58

12340-82000-0E0 - "Blue" Main Bearings - $22.58

I don't know if the prices are each or for a set of 10 (4 cylinder references at Suzuki)

I'm getting my next set of bearings from Suzuki.

96051634 - "Green" Main Bearings

96051635 - "Black" Main Bearings

96051636 - "No Color" Main Bearings

96051637 - "Yellow" Main Bearings

96051638 - "Blue" Main Bearings

Prices that I have gotten around the web seem to be comparable to those listed above as Suzuki. Calling the local Chevy dealer today actually yielded some results. They said that they are both available and complete sets for the G10.

Now, I guess we'll really see how good this really all pans out to be when I have the parts in hand in a week or two. Or... watch this be a re-post of already common knowledge.... :smackface
