i think one of the hamsters died. with the key off, pop the hood and check the stste of the hamsters (alive\dead) replace the dead one, motor on. seriously drive it with a fuel psi gauge taped to the window. duplicate the concern. sounds fuel related. |

DVOM red test lead connected to 02 sensor black wire set scale to DC volts 0 to 2 volts or 0 to 4 or something close you will be looking at a range of 0 to 1 volt so get as close to that (but not under it) as possible negative test lead to battery negative meter will bounce between 0 and 1 volt when the engine runs and the 02 sensor is hot all the time it should never stop bouncing - if the meter is flatlined it is connected incorrectly OR the 02 sensor is kaka drive car watch meter when problem occurs describe in great detail what the meter does basically meter goes to 0 and stays there means there is no fuel , system is lean , fuel starvation meter goes to 1 and stays there , means no spark OR lots of fuel OR extreme problem with MAP sensor or fuel pressure regulator this simple test will narrow down your possibilities this assumes there is fuel , not water in the fuel tank Edited by mwebb, May 21 2013, 10:04 PM.

Do you ever get a nasty exhaust smell like that you get when an old smoky two stroke boat motor is first fired up in the morning? I was getting this during my ground and TPS issues. It would run like crap and I could barely keep it running, then it would just run great like nothing was wrong. Conor |
