1994 xfi just died; Has spark , compression, fuel

Towed it home , checked for spark, did compression test, sprayed starting fuel in throtal body,,, and nothing,,,,any ideas?...

Did you find spark? Remove distributor cap and crank engine and see if the rotor is turning. If not, broken timing belt likely.

Remove fuel line from throttle body and put it in a jar and turn the switch on and see if its pumping fuel.

it should still run with compression numbers like that.
May be try unbolting the exhaust. Never happened to me but could be a plugged cat.

get someone to crank the engine and you watch the fuel injecter -- see if it sprays.......

Even with low compression it is at least evenly low across all three cylinders and should fire. My guess isthe fuel injector.

He may very well have a injector issue going on but it should also fire using starting fluid as he has also. I have seen engines with low compression that absoulutely would not start. Compression is vital.
