96 metro OBD2 rejection at smog station; NEED TO PASS SMOG!

I recently bought a 96 1.0L. There was no check engine light when I got it. I did some basic tune up stuff (plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor, cleaned EGR, new PCV valve, seafoamed everything), After that, I threw engine codes: 0113,0303,0420.

I disconnected the battery to clear the codes in case during all the seafoam and repairs it may have caused it to throw faulty codes, then drove it for a few days with no check engine light. I took it to get smogged and was rejected due to OBD2 sensors not resetting (o2 sensor, catalyst, and EGR). Right now the car runs pretty good, but idles at like 1200 rpm's. No smoke from exhaust, the previous owner said they rebuilt the motor 20K miles ago. I'm trying to drive it around to get the drive cycles in, but i would think by now stuff should have reset. I dunno, im just getting into this stuff. willing to learn, but limited on time and "resources."

Any suggestions? I just want to get this thing on the road for the least amout of $$$ possible.

0113- intake air temp circuit high input
0303- misfire in cylinder 3
0420- either a bad catalytic convertor or o2 sensor (bank one)

The first one Ive never delt with so I wont be able to give you any advice. For 0303 on my car it turned out I just needed new wires. Once I did that it ran fine.
For the 0420 it was a bad o2 sensor (bank one). Meaning the o2 sensor thats closest to the header. After replacing it the car ran fine. Here is a link with more info.

I too had to pass smog in CA. I bought a $40 obd2 Actron code scanner/clearer. Drove to the smog station, cleared my check engine light, got the car smogged and rolled out. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

Hey Nick, what problems were you having with the car before you replaced the o2 sensor?
