So update time not much new thinking of renaming mr roboto to "that evil little blue thing in my garage" :gamerz
it was a pretty rough and expensive 4th weekend pothole made me have to get 4 new tires for my outback
more brake madness on outback
and mr roboto has that funky issue where it acts starved for gas from 3-5th gear,
had to pushed it 2miles back home (thank GOD its a metro)
So me and a buddy towed it around 40 miles to my mechanic buddy in longmont (hands on auto tech) gonna let him fix all the idle and throttle stuff.
and see if we can make that guy trust worthy to set the outback a side.
got it to the shop and found my bottle of syncromesh tipped over in the back on the spare tire carpet (the carpet i just cleaned)
and my driver headlight is out and the high beam gauge light out

Mr Mojo Risin'

It always piles on all at once, sort of a law of nature.
Nothing was wrong at all with my Swift and then BAM! Suspension goes poop and the tires start crapping out :smackface
Just gotta ride out the storm

Thanks for the compliment Mate! Kept lookin' for a cheap one - and the kid didn't bang it up thankfully.

Here's to a quick fix with your fuel issue :cheers

ok little update not much new buddy finally got it to start sputtering and stall doing 1/4 mile dives getting it past 35 also now my high beam light on the gauge is out and driver side light is browned out
reading a lot on the forum here about the fuel issue
so
since my exhaust sounds like a fart can muffler anywho, resonator is rusted out and muffler is junked ill replace that section completely most likely do the cat end as well
going for super quiet thinking of the walker quiet flow muffler any suggestions?

This issue seamed to come up after we had to air chisel bolts off the exhaust to get a new seal on the midway joint so maybe we rattled the hell out of the cat.

anywho

fuel issue to do list
check fuel pressure
check grounds
check o2 sensors (they maybe aftermarket so i may just replace)
properly zero the throttle stop screw so i can properly set the tps (anyone have info on this for a 97?)
recheck timing belt marks to see if I'm off
after tps adjust check vac lines again

am I missing anything?

thanks guys I'll try to get more pics rolling in

Woohoo Progress!! I got my walker quiet flow muffler and resinator on aswell as a untampered throttle body fired em up and man what a difference it's more quiet then most newer cars! highly reconmend the walker quiet flow for guys wanting to keep it quiet!
the old resinator was rusted through under the heat shield.

not only did it sound like i had one of those fart cans but i was getting buzzed pretty good from the leak :stoner
