Now down to the giant amps-

I may want to wait to talk to Richard or snow fish or any one who's smart about this part because I'd hate to ruin my favorite amps.

Posted Image

There is a ton of room for the amp to be chopped off at the end and this circuit board can be mounted somewhere different , the amp would fit under my seat with plenty of air coolant room IF IT were cut off and placed side to side.

This picture showed how much room is wasted due to whatever idk make the amp look big.

I would cut it off at the blue board and use some plexi glass for protection. (And my fans)

If the thing were not cut off it would sit something like this under my seat.

I have 2 identical amps both run my 15" subs one on each side, makes for a perfect dynamic tune of what I want it to sound like.

The floor is 17.5 to 18 inches (carpet smoosh) and the amp would be 17 inches long, that would leave me .5 inch to have my wires and stuff. Then the amp controller can just be on top....yea seems lagit

I'm not well versed in stereos & amps. However I do know that those amps generate a fair amount of heat. You are proposing removing some of the heat sink. :gamerz Something tells me that may not be a good idea. :'( Hopefully T3 will chime in. :fon

I would be worried about the heat too, but it very we'll could work. I stuck a pair of battery packs that were 5.5 x 20 x 13 under the front seats in the tevie1 build in my signature... Crazy idea, but it worked. Maybe those amps will keep your butt warm in the winter

The entire reason I'm doing it is because I do not like to waste space in my small car, I can do many things if I do them smart. I can have a huge sound system if I pack it all nice and neat. Plus if I ever need to haul 3 homies I can take my subs out throw cargo in the back and the amps are out of the way

I have a new fave way of looking at things. It's not bought it's built. So with that said, let's build this metro to how I like it! :rocker

Ok so the deed is done, all the chips cleaned out and ready to bump. It fits great. Now next stem is probably put my cooling fans on and build my mount hardware and extend the wires on the controller so I can put it any where I want

Best part is the seat fits and slides forward and backward tilts correctly and works great. I am happy, now time to build the stuff.

I can also feel under my seat to make sure they don't get to hot if I'm bumpin hard. I was wanting to put them in the rear but I can't check them if they are that far away.
