i advise caution here with your application of insulation. at the very rear of the body tub, behind the rear wheel houses, there are vents that provide "flow through" ventilation for the cabin.

blocking air flow there might be enough to cause that amp to go into thermal runaway and blow up. ;)
Thanks for the tip, I was sure to leave the vent clear and in working order. That amp runs only high range so it stay cool all the time. Only my woofer driving amps get hot. Thanks for reading Richard.

Here are a few items I haul in my spare tire well. Some rope, cable ties, gas cap, hose clamp, few extra hoses for fuel and stuff, gloves, rags, WD, and jack/lug nut tool. Never needed these things but some day I might. Gloves came in handy when I drove on a flat tire one time and the rim and rubber were hot so I used gloves to change the tire.
These are the items that live underneath the many pounds of speaker box.

While I the subject of speakers I have 4 more 6" speakers to add in. I will run these speakers on a X-over and have them set for that good upper mid range, got to love dynamic sound.

Could do 1 here and one on the other side. Then what to do with the other 2?

OR

Make myself a super slick custom box for the rear compartment overhead and have 4 speakers across the back of the over head. That would be soooooo cool

OR

A center arm rest for the rear. Speakers bumpin hard so no one sits in the back any way

You're getting pretty close to being able to take out the rear hatch window and replacing it with a speaker box. ;-)

So I ordered the SRD under drive aluminum pulley for my car, I wanted to upgrade from 3 rib to 4 rib belt but stupid send me the standard one, oh well I'll use it any way. 3 rib drive 4 rib AC.
Had to mention that they left some chips in the grove of where the belt rides, so if you buy one wire brush the chips out. Reason for buying this is because my dad picked me up a full AC set for 70$ he took it all apart out of the junk car and it will be installed in my car some time soon with new O-rings and all the bells and whistles. Plus when the AC is put in I will remove my dash insulate my fire wall, insulate all my duct work (like a house) and make sure all the bolts and rattles are tied up under there. Clean and re-install. Stay tuned for that project...for the 3 people who read this lol

Here is a head my dad got for me (thanks dad) and this I am sending off for some work. Getting a +10 sprocket 222-365 cam stainless stuff and whatever the huge price tag gets me.

This head is in great shape so I blew all the cat hair off of it and I will pack it up today.

Be sure to keep the head locating pins. ^o) They won't come back. :shake Don't expect miracles. The cam & head shave will perk it up a little. :hmm But not as much as you may expect. :'( Don't get me wrong, it is nice. :) Just don't expect massive gains. :shake Get New lifters. :deal Old ones get "clicky" really fast with this grind. :( You'll love the lumpy idle. :D :popcorn

Great...the bearing locators and head locators went with the head and it is boxed up ready for space/deep ocean/tank bombs. Glued tapes wound with string, mike will have a hard time getting the had out but I know it will be safe. If any thing I will have to use my current locator pins and things. Thanks for the info, I hope that they do a good job I did a good job making sure they got a good head and it shipped safe.

I have my good old dad to thank for that one, he spent his own time/money/effort to do it for me and that is amazing. My car has no AC but I will make the AC colder than a luxury car. I plan on insulating ALL the duct work the motor housing the blower everything for cool quiet operation. If I can reduce turbulence in the AC duct work for smooth operation I will. It's Arizona and having AC will be PIMP! I don't know why I don't buy a luxury car....oh wait I can't afford one :smackface
