Other side wears the inner also, I can't get the bolts loose to align the car so I've had this problem since I got it. Adding extra weight added to the rate of tire wear. It's cool tho I guess because I can burn up some junk tires. |

Yea the 12" wheels don't have much grip but sometimes that can be the fun in a corner, get that rush when a 35mph turn gets a little squirmy and you push the gas feather the clutch bring her back under contro. And mind you all this fun was at a break neck 35 mph. Launch is kinda awful on 12" as well, got to gingerly pinky toe the clutch at the feel of any slip for the perfect gate start. Just mashing the gas the tires break free. You will love the 4:39 trans it is so much fun, shifting 2-4 gears are the best, close together rpm hardly changes. Shifting the trans pressing the clutch hearing the motor is the thill I seem to never ever get tired of. |

You might put some sound deadening tape on the bowl to absorb some of the vibrations. |

Yea I may not be able to use the bowls because they are kinda flexible I mean they are plastic after all. The fiber glass is something I will need to practice with more. I just hate to waste money because I can't do something, waste resin waste fiber stuff, but oh well I can't learn if I don't try. The bowl I did in 1 layer of fiberglass seems quite rigid so maybe a layer of fabric like suggested and then a layer of fiberglass and I'll see how it works out. I have four 6" speakers I wanted in the hatch window mounted to a beam across the back, that's why the "cool" Fiberglas enclosures |

Watch more You Tubes about fiberglassing and go for it. Planning, patience, and perseverance is key. It will turn out great.

Zxt, it may seem like a waste of resin and cloth, but the learning is golden. Most of what I know is self taught, and I have scrapped lots of projects in the process. The drive that you have to try stuff like this will get you where you want to be, and my personal opinion is that it will be faster and better than a trade school. People poked fun at me as I did the same things that you are doing, but none of them were learning or doing anything. Now those guys have to pay me when they need something done right. |

Go to thrift stores and see if you can find the metal cones that are used on light fixtures. Kinda rare but I have seen some the size you want for a buck or so each. |

![]() Ok so I took my product off my mold and tried to make the "rim" of the enclosure. The bowel turned out decent but needs to be thicker next round of trial. I was going to try to makers rim and the bowel then put the pices together, so when this cures up I'll see what I get. |
