Yes i drove it last night in Dutchman's canyon (hwy 88) and that car is 237$ better than it was before, I'm amazed what that little pice of aluminum did for the front end control. It's honestly worth that much. It probably worth more even. I am highly satisfied! |

Turbo3 and Twincam Tweaker

i was a very early adopter of the lower 4 point brace from turbine tech. it's one of the very few custom parts available for our cars that presents a vast engineering and structural improvement over the factory manufacture. if i only had a couple hundred bucks in my budget for parts for my metro, this would be the first part i would buy. ![]() it's where you start with suspension improvements.

would be nice if there was another group buy for ones that are new or were not around for the previous one. |

regardless of a group buy, a direct order from turbine tech is worth the effort. when it comes to this item, saving $20 and waiting isn't really warranted. the sooner you get one of these on your car, the better.

got the twin cam at my house if you want to see it. but yea as T3 said just pay the 237$ and buy the brace it makes an instant difference. my frame horns were about 10 mm off of the brace due to age, i used a truck tie ratchet strap to muscle the horns back together and got the brace on pretty easy. only thing is that it hangs super low to the ground and i turned around on some dirt patch and bumped the brace on a rock and scratched it already, had it 10 mis and scratched it ![]() |

ill have to come by sometime and check it out. im a huge procrastinator so it may be a few before i can check it out. any meets or gatherings for metro owners around here in good ol AZ? if i can get the new front suspension ordered and installed then the metro will be on the road. scratches add character. now if it was painted or chromed, different story. Not always but at least in my case handling is better, Gives me a little more clearance and it also looks good. Also if you do highway traveling it should give you better MPG just make sure you adjust for the discrepancy in Mileage reading. Is it worth the money? Well the rims I got on my car came with my other Geo so no money spent, then again if at some point i had the money i would have spent it on some nice wheels.
